The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food as leader of Work Package 6 (Capitalisation) of the project MISTRAL, is pleased to invite you to the hybrid event “Blue Mediterranean: innovation for people” that will take place in the premises of the University of Cádiz on the 26th of November.
This Interreg MED project (Mediterranean Innovation Strategy for transnational activity of clusters and networks of the Blue Growth https://mistral.interreg-med.eu/ ) involves 8 countries of MED Area, (IT, FR, ES, GR, PT, HR, AL, CY), 2 Ministries (ES, FR) y 8 Regions, along as a number of clusters and governmental institutions, all pointing to five main sectors:
- Fishing & Aquaculture
- Maritime Surveillance
- Coastal and maritime tourism
- Blue Energy
At this point the project is already preparing guidelines for the regional strategies for transferring innovations to the sectors, and in this meeting these guidelines will be discussed and some regional programmes will be presented.
Should you attend physically the meeting in Cádiz, you will have the opportunity to visit the 39 ha of artisanal Salinas in the surroundings of the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park. A unique natural laboratory where research and innovation and transfer can take place, joined by a third axis of great interest, related to the approach of the environmental, economic and cultural values of artisanal salinas to society through environmental education, training, tourism and social participation https://scise.uca.es/investigacion/
